Modirum Partnership

Building the Foundation for Digital Safety & Resilience

As we close 2025, I am proud of what we have achieved together at Modirum Platforms.

We delivered over 20% year-on-year growth while fully meeting our profitability targets. This result reflects disciplined execution, strategic clarity, and strong collaboration across the organization. Importantly, this performance was achieved while completing one of the most significant transformation phases in the company’s history.

Following three M&A transactions completed in 2024, 2025 was a year of focused post-merger execution. We completed most of the major structural and operational changes required to integrate these businesses into a single, scalable platform organization.

One of the most important milestones was the consolidation of our R&D under a single leadership structure. This has materially improved prioritization, execution speed, and technology coherence across our platforms. In parallel, we made deliberate strategic decisions to ensure we are focusing on the right priority markets and use cases. As a result, our core focus is now firmly on critical communications and public safety solutions. The market environment further underlines the importance of this focus.

Navigating a New Era of Public Safety: Hybrid Threats and the Transformation of Critical Communications

Across Europe and globally, authorities are facing a clear increase in hybrid threats, climate-driven incidents, and complex, multi-agency emergency situations. Over the past decade, the number of extreme weather events has more than doubled globally, and public safety authorities are increasingly required to manage large-scale incidents involving multiple organizations and jurisdictions. In parallel, hybrid threats—combining physical, cyber, and information-domain impacts—are becoming more frequent and more complex.

At the same time, the nature of critical communications is changing rapidly. Public safety and security organizations are transitioning from voice-centric systems to broadband-based environments. The adoption of MCX standards is accelerating, driven by the growing operational importance of real-time video, situational data, sensor inputs, and secure information sharing. In many operational scenarios today, video and data are as mission-critical as voice.

In this context, partners like Modirum Platforms play a vital role for society. Our mission is to ensure that the organizations responsible for protecting citizens and critical infrastructure have secure, resilient, and future-proof platforms to operate effectively under pressure. The ability to integrate legacy systems with next-generation broadband networks, while maintaining national control, high availability, and security, has become a strategic requirement for governments and public safety authorities.

To strengthen our technology leadership, we further developed partnerships with leading research institutions, including VTT, ensuring that cutting-edge capabilities are made available to our markets as rapidly as possible. This is particularly relevant in a geopolitical environment that continues to support increased investment in national security, public safety, and resilient digital infrastructure.

Our post-merger journey now moves into its next phase. The key priority is the implementation of a regionally led organizational model, designed to bring decision-making closer to customers and to further improve service quality, delivery speed, and accountability across markets.

Strong Year

From a market perspective, 2025 was a strong year. In the Nordics, we solidified our market share and grew faster than most competitors. In the Middle East, we expanded alongside our communications service provider customers as well as public safety organizations. In Eastern Europe, we maintained our market position, working primarily with communication service providers. We opened operations in Switzerland, focusing on digital safety and critical communications, and our expectations for Central Europe are now supported by a solid and growing pipeline. In addition, we launched operations in both the United States and Brazil, where early traction is encouraging and the 2027 pipeline is developing well.

Most importantly, our teams are now better aligned around shared priorities, clearer execution models, and a common ambition.

Our strategic intent is clear: to position Modirum Platforms as the leading EMEA platform alternative for nationwide security solutions, protecting critical infrastructure and enabling safer societies.

A Word of Thanks

I would like to sincerely thank our colleagues, partners, and customers for their trust, commitment, and collaboration. Your contribution made 2025 a success, and together we are well positioned for the years ahead.
