Join our dynamic and collaborative team as a Junior Business Controller!

In this role, you will support our global Finance & Control team across several Strategic Business Units. Your main tasks will be various business controlling tasks and financial administration tasks both in Finland and globally. You will be reporting directly to the CFO of Modirum Platforms. In this role, crucial traits are curiosity about data, eye for detail and ability to work both independently and with a team.

This is a hybrid role with no pre-set division between remote and on-site work, but you are expected to work from the office regularly as needed. The current estimate of needed minimum on-site presence at our office in Keilaniemi is weekly.

  • Monthly reporting
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Material preparation
  • Cost follow-up
  • Month-end activities including invoicing
  • Ad-hoc analysis
  • Support business stakeholders
  • Participation in development projects and financial process improvement

your profile / required qualifications and experience

  • Willingness to learn and grow in the role as the company grows
  • Proficiency in Finnish and English (both required)
  • Solid proficiency in digital communication and office tools (M365, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, economics, business administration or other related field, studies at least 75% complete
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience, during or after studies
  • Financial analysis and planning skills
  • Commercial awareness
  • Proactive, analytical and structured way of working
  • Capability to think ahead and take initiative
  • Resilience in fast-changing situations

Know-how of accounting tools (Netvisor, Procountor) and reporting tools (PowerBI) is a plus, but not a prerequisite.
